WASP requires a Salesperson to join their team – North West.

We are looking for a well-groomed, presentable individual with previous experience as a sales representative. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify opportunities for new business to successfully generate and develop new accounts (thinking not out the box but throwing the box away)
  • Drive sales of the company’s products by promoting the entire range of products and services.
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients through effective communication, continually striving to provide the best solutions to suit the individual needs of the clients. (if you are a people’s person, and passionate about customer service this will be a piece of cake)
  • Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to provide the best service to the client.
  • Provide the client with up-to-date technical information and advice. (all about people skills which you have)
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities – mild OCD is a good thing…
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all telecommunications and solutions products and technologies through training and regular review of technical documents.
  • Adhere to all company’s policies, procedures and business ethics codes because you are a superstar.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client’s needs
  • Ensure consistent service levels are met /exceeded
  • Effectively negotiate and close deals
  • Ability to responded to clients request in a professional and timeously manner telephonically and via email

Wasp is at the intersection of technology and entertainment, facilitating essential communications that connect residential and business customers. We require a junior network engineer in Klerksdorp to assist with 1st and 2nd tier support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Troubleshooting of network faults.
  • Configuration of networking equipment.
  • Configuration of wireless links.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • First line support/escalate any slow internet connectivity issues.
  • Physical and Power Checks.
  • Notify clients when there is an outage.
  • Implement security tools, policies, and procedures as directed by the senior network engineer.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to clients where needed.
  • Monitor performance and resource utilization to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Provide second line support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Liaising with clients to acquire information about faults and confirm resolution.
  • Continuously update ticketing system and keep clients updated to ensure good client service at all times.

Requirements:

  • N+ certificate.
  • Good knowledge of networking.
  • Knowledge of Cambium, Ubiquity (PBE’s), Mikrotik Hap routers, Unifi routers and Tenda routers would be an advantage.
  • Any networking qualifications / certificates (N+, CCENT, CCNA, MTCNA etc.) required.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Honesty, integrity, patience, and a good sense of humour will be welcomed here – we believe that everyone can and should enjoy their time at work.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • If you are attention-to-detail oriented, enjoy a challenge and can multi-task, this is the position for you.
  • Able to converse fluently in Afrikaans.
